How Xinder works
Xinder is the dating and friends app for 3DXChat players. Here is everything it does, step by step, in the browser and on the 3DX Phone.
Sign in with your DX-ID
Xinder has no password of its own. You sign in with your DX-ID, the same name and password as the 3DX Phone.
No DX-ID yet? Choose Create account on the sign-in screen and pick a name and a password of at least 10 characters. Xinder then shows you a recovery code once: save it somewhere safe before you go on.
Set up your profile
Your first visit opens a short setup in five steps: add photos, choose a mode, enter your age and bio, pick your tags, then go live.
Add between one and six photos of your avatar. Each one is cropped to a 3:4 portrait, and the first is your main photo. Your name comes from your avatar name.
Xinder is for adults, so your age must be 18 or older. Your bio takes 10 to 300 characters. Choose at least one tag each for Looking for, Interests and Vibe; boundaries are optional, and you can add tags of your own.
Pick your modes: Date, BFF and Spark
Date is for flirting and dates in 3DX. BFF is for friends to party and explore with. Spark is the hookup mode: no strings attached.
You start in one mode and can switch any time. In Me you can show yourself in several modes at once. Each mode keeps its own preferences and tags, and likes and matches always belong to one mode.
Discover who's online now
Discover shows one profile at a time. People who are online right now come first, then people who already liked you. Like or Nope with the buttons, by dragging the card, or with the arrow keys on a computer.
Open a profile to see all photos, the bio, the languages someone speaks, when they're usually online, how they like to meet and their tags. When you've seen everyone online in a mode, Xinder tells you and then shows people who are offline.
The likes strip shows how many people liked you, with their photos blurred. You'll see who when you match.
Match
When two people like each other in the same mode, it's a match. Send a message right away or keep swiping. Matches lists your new matches and everyone you've matched with, people who are online first.
Chat, end-to-end encrypted
Messages are encrypted on your device before they leave it. The server only passes the encrypted text on: it sees who wrote to whom and when, but not what you wrote.
Every chat has a 30-digit security code. Compare it with your match, for example in 3DX: if you both see the same code, nobody is reading along. If a match's code changes, Xinder tells you before you send anything.
One device receives your new messages at a time. When you start chatting on another device, earlier chats stay on the device they were sent to.
Online now
Online now means someone is using Xinder in the browser or playing 3DXChat with the 3DX Phone. It lasts three minutes after the last sign of activity, and your matches and people in Discover see it in the modes you are shown in. Where you are is never shown.
To turn it off, open Me, then Privacy, and switch off Show when I'm online.
Use it in the browser or on the 3DX Phone
Xinder runs in any browser and as an app on the 3DX Phone, the overlay for 3DXChat. Both use the same DX-ID, profile and matches, and show the same security code for a chat.
Block, report or take a break
You can block anyone, matched or not. Blocking ends a match, and neither of you sees the other in Discover again.
To report someone, pick a reason: spam or bot, inappropriate content, harassment, underage, impersonation or something else. Blocking comes with a report unless you switch it off. With a match, you can also simply unmatch.
Need a break? Deactivate Xinder in Me: you disappear from Discover in every mode, and your matches, chats and profile stay saved.
